HERACLES, WITHOUT A MEMBER
Three story-lines are brought together through their connection to a Roman marble statue of Hercules. Now found in the Getty Museum, the Lansdowne Hercules (aka Herakles) was entirely restored when it was unearthed in Tivoli in the late 1700’s … except for one part, which was conspicuously left off. See how three different stories (in the 20s, 50s, and current day) intertwine via Hercules and his missing member.
