A surprise treat from Buntport! A reading of Christmas Carol!

A note from Erin: Hello everyone! All of us here at Buntport hope that you are having a safe holiday season. We have come to your inbox with a last minute surprise. Allow me to give you some back story.
When I was growing up, my father would read A Christmas Carol out loud to us every year. It would happen in four nights, leading up to Christmas. In my opinion, he is very good at reading it — in fact, when I was young I would marvel at how present he remains, clearly still affected by a story he has read countless times. This December my father turned 70 and, as a present to himself, he asked if we would record him reading the story so that others could enjoy it. So, as safely as possible, just he and I went to Buntport (I masked and distant) and we filmed the whole novella. The result is simple: David Rollman and a book, telling a story that everybody thinks they know. Now Buntport wants to share it with you. Below are the Vimeo links — they require no password or donation — they are there for everyone.
As he points out in his brief intro and coda, this is not a denominational story. We hope that everybody might enjoy it, on whatever schedule you wish. In my family, each stave (chapter) was read on its own until the fourth night, when staves 4 & 5 were read together. If you choose that format, it will take under an hour each night for four nights. But it is not for me to tell you how/when to enjoy a good story.
So, happy birthday to my father and happy holidays to the rest of us, Erin (and the rest of the Buntporters)
