Buntport Theater

So. Things are weird right now. For everybody.

Due to Covid-19 we have no idea when we will be back up and running. We are busy coming up with as much alternative entertainment as we can, while we are all stuck in different parts of the city. Like so many small businesses, we will need help to get through this indefinite shutdown.

If you have the means, we will gratefully accept donations. Thank you for even considering it! Ironically, we were planning a stay-at-home fundraiser this June. Now, it’s likely all organization will be forced into that route. Anything you can spare will be put to good use.

If you would like to buy gift certificates, we are also making those available. Obviously we don’t know when you’ll be able to put them into action, but we have three choices below (and will work with you if you have other ideas).

Third Tuesdays

Full-length plays

All programming (including The Narrators)

We appreciate you thinking of us during this time. We’re also thinking of you. We miss you and are excited for a time when we can get together again! In the meantime, if you follow us on Facebook, we’ll be posting virtual content. If you don’t have Facebook, we’ll occasionally send stuff via e-mail.

Looking down from above, we see a giant white Rat lying in a rope hammock rubbing his big old belly in green light.

Universe 92

Using real scientific experiments as a jumping off point, Universe 92 is a comedy featuring three animal behaviorists, a giant rat in a hammock, and a Roomba. (more…)

A man dressed in a suite of armor stands in front of a painting of a wizard. The man is wearing the lip expanders you might wear at the dentist’s office during a procedure.

Remembering A Knight To Remember

A haphazard quest disguised as play

Do you remember Buntport’s 2012 ridiculous comedy A Knight to Remember? No need to. We’re bringing it back for you. Sort of. Featuring real armor, a fake horse, and seven overhead projectors.
