Buntport Theater

A short play by Michael Clifton, written while he was incarcerated in Colorado. His solo performance grapples with hope in the darkest of places—solitary confinement in prison. The performance will be followed by a reflective dialogue with the audience. Produced by Grapefruit Lab and offered in partnership with Buntport Theater and the Denver Public Library. This event is a part of the library’s One Book One Denver initiative, and is thematically tied into Colson Whitehead’s Pulitzer Prize winning novel The Nickel Boys. No need to have read the book in advance. There will be copies available on a first-come basis.
